To keep tabs of where the low to our south west ends up. Could see some wintry showers when this first hits the colder air. Won't last though. Some strong gusts appearing now around the south west now. I'm turning in as a couple of hours yet until it gets here

To remind people of the met office warning

Heavy rain is expected to spread across parts of southern, central and eastern England through Sunday morning, clearing eastern parts by early afternoon. The rain will be accompanied by strong winds in parts of southeast England, possibly gusting in excess of 50mph.

The public should be aware that the rain, falling on already wet ground, may lead to some minor flooding from either surface water or rivers.

Radar/Dew points/surface temperature watching today, be best if your on a hill as that's where we could see some sleet or even wet snow.

Morning all,

It has just started to spit with rain here in the last 20 minutes, looking at the radar I'm right on the edge of this weather system at the moment and really hoping the worst of it will stay to my south.

Have a nice day..... whatever the weather angel.gif

Good morning everyone, I trust you all had a pleasant Saturday night, and I like the firework photo's MK.

It was a chilly night at Heathrow, but quite bearable so I rated it a 3 on BB's Li scale. The rain started just after 4am with temperatures at arounnd 3-4c. Close, but not quite into lampost watching territory.

I was thinking of staying awake for a while to see how this Low develops but to be honest Im too cream-crackered, so its goodnight from me, and have a good day weather watching.

BB

Was frosty here in West Norfolk at around 6.30am, all melted now and cloudy outside, no rain as yet, seem to be just above the northern edge of the rain band.
