I believe I can give my forecast a confidence level of approximately 60 to 70%, due to a pretty clear-cut trend as head towards the beginning of meteorological winter. In my view, FI (fantasy island) is currently sitting somewhere between the dates of 2nd December and 3rd December, which can only be a good thing.[/size

Great stuff GTLTW, I'm just going to go all professional and legal and say that you can't sue GTLTW or the site if you aren't snowed in next weekend!

End of submissions m'lud

The trend for the coming week is that it will turn increasingly colder and drier as the week progresses, after a wet start to the week. Going to be a seasonal start to meterological winter, I personally look forward to it!

Really nice post GTLTW! :)

It's blooming dark here in Reigate but will probably get light again tomorrow, roughly around or just before sunrise..

I am now the winner of the 'most pathetic submission to get to 500 posts' award 2012. I'd like to thank some people for their help in getting me to this place, including my analyst, but I value my membership too highly!

An increasingly interesting week coming up I think. Hope we can all find something we enjoy.

It's dark in south Reigate too... May not get light here though if the youngest keeps getting up!

And you being closer to the equator as well!

Make the most of them being young GP, my eldest is nearly 16 and only comes down to watch I'm a celebrity.....

Don't worry AS, JP will be along with his RAMP charts shortly. Let's hope they are this side of FI. good.gif

The GFS 18z (PUB RUN) is very similar to the GFS 12z at t+66 with the colder T850s trundling south slowly. drinks.gif

*This isn't my thing usually, trying to find a trend from the one run but heck, I like what I see, so far. acute.gif

hi ice they normally come out 10.30-11 the dates that we need

i will have a gamble of ecm being wrong

also i just read the posts on the model thread

wheres the nearest tower block doh.gif

hi abruzzi

i gather you just read that thread as well

Thanks John, not long to wait then! Fingers crossed, but it looks like the pub run is looking more hopeful than the earlier ECM and doubt is being thrown onto the ECM's output anyway. Perhaps the tower block can wait for another day?

Up to t+153 (very early hours of the 2nd December) the GFS left trouser legHEADS RUN is still broadly similar to the general trend shown by the GFS in recent days.

It might be a bit of a crawl getting there for some, but I am a patient being.

Just for fun, GFS 18z has widespread snowfall from a trough next Sunday.

That is the point at which the models are struggling, I would say. acute.gif

AS

This is what will happen with my younger one when he is 16...

At 7pm, I will turn the lights out in his room and play lullabies, sing songs and pat him on the back...

At 8pm I will nick his food and turn his television off repeatedly...

9.30pm - fall asleep on him in such a way that it's impossible to move.

Set loud and vicious alarms at 11.03, 1.47, 1.49, 1.51, 3.17 and then play loud music at 5am in his ear...

Revenge is best served cold...
