Some pressure on the block to the NW, but quite frankly by that point who would care!

Anyone spot the siberian express headed under the block

Uppers for all of uk sub -8c....nice bank of -12 to -24 uppers on their way

Even Epic !!!

Im trying to be positive, I really am-

It's just we've been here to many times before and with all these 'epic' runs-

I'm beginning to think about calling a few CSI guys in already-

They will think it's a crime when the entire NW Model watching base all commit suicide-

Good grief that is one heck of an ECM run, its VERY close to the 12z GFS control run as well fwiw.

Very cold, serious amounts of snow would be coming off the North Sea as well.

Going to be a bitter run, I can't wait to see what the ECM ensembles are going to show!!

I know it will change a bit, but do you think there's any snow potential on this chart for us in Scotland? smiliz39.gif

The ECM is a seriously snowy run for ALL of us.

dont let steve see that the road to the urals is open again. it'll be 1991/1987/1963/1947 all over again !!!

Yes talking of SM where is he?

He'd certainly be loving the ECM tonight. I await the NOAA update regarding the upstream pattern in the USA, hopefully they go with the ECM/GFS combo.

Can't quite believe this run, still could go wrong and there is time, but that is nearing perfection it has to be said. The only way that could be better is if we had a slightly more potent cold pool already in place over Europe...but thats great!!

That`s a bitter Siberian cold wedge moving under the block

Almost perfect orientation at T168 to send it west.

Good to see all models agree the link up of heights to our north at day 5.That`s the first step.

Whoever said that 2010/11 was a 1 in 100 Year event, didn't realise the clock had been set back to 0!

Never seen such a mega easterly even in the archives, lets just saviour this moment before we start pulling it to bits :-D
