I suggest someone saves that ECM 192 hrs chart as you don't get much better than that

And then the 216 chart comes along.......that's a rager of a flow from the east. Britain would be freezing solid & much of Europe.

Isn't this meant to be the "warm up" show before the main event in late December / January!?unsure.png

Has to be an outlier surely!?

Ridiculous charts on offering by the ECM!!!! If you dislike cold then I suggest booking your place to Caribbean for this weekend for the rest of winter!

It's hard to know what to say. IF this is NOT a cold outlier, and it will obviously be one of the coldest (but i mean if it is not on its own), then this place will go bonkers. Best charts I have ever seen. No questions asked. BANK

EDIT: iT HAS BEEN LOST IN THE MODEL THREAD EXCITEMENT, but someone posted a frame of an output from the 27th Jan 2012 for the 5th Feb (further away than we are looking at for this cold spell but still). It showed -20 uppers over Belgium from ECM. It collapsed and never happened. I hope more than anyone this happens (cos I missed 2010 completely) but nothing is nailed yet. Give it till the weekend, then I will abandon all inhibitions!!

I think some sort of easterly is pretty nailed on now, but to those proportions we are looking at now, I will believe it when I see it ;)

It gets better lol

At 216hrs JS is sending flares into the sky looking to be dug out of 10 foot drifts.

The ECM wont happen, if it the UK / Ireland and most of Europe would close down!!

I think it is a complete let down, JS!!

Not quite JS, but NOW you do! My god the 240hr chart is just absolutely absurd. The guys at ECMWF have really done us.

It is only downhill from here.

I will shout it and say the 240hr chart is the BEST i have EVER seen.

Well people... Just look at them charts ! I'm wetting myself !! I mean we would be talking about permafrosts and extreme snowfall and cold with those charts. Awesome stuff !
