Started snowing 11am and has left a dusting in Huddersfield!!

Met forecast light snow for a time tomorrow morning.

Some very fine Snow coming down through fog.

Seen this on few occasions when its foggy, the light snow tends to be very localized.

Amazing two cars outside have been parked for three hours in temps of -2.5C and not even frosted up. Weird.

Jumped up above freezing here the last hour with increasing wind, so I guess the low temperatures are now dependent on inversions.

Cracking day here in Scarborough. Weather stations on the blink but the hoar frost from last night is still around so i presume an ice day today. No fog today but beautiful clear skies and frost again forming on roads and paths. Here's a few shots taken at Osgodby in Scarborough this morning.

Great photo's mate, certainly some cracking scenery around today, second best to snow if you ask me! Been freezing fog here all day now, max temp hit a balmy -2.7c this afternoon, currently sitting at -6.8c which is the lowest temp so far this season.

Took a trip upto the Wolds this afternoon, the fog cleared around 150m upwards where it was a bit warmer at just -3c. The view from the top was impressive with a huge bank of fog covering lower land with the highest parts of the Howardian Hills and the North York Moors poking out of the fog.

This was the view once i'd got above the fog line of where I was heading to the top of the Wolds.

And this is the view from the top (200m) above Leavening looking North West towards the vale of York and the Moors.

You can just see the highest hill poking out of the hill's saying HELLO

Wow..sheet ice on every surface here,nearly slipped off back step having morning cig . Not sure about temp. Can't have my weather station till xmas . If anyone could pm me advice about where i should position it,that would be gratefully received.

Echoing everyone else on here -2 with moderate drizzle and black ice everywhere. Met office extremely slow to place out warnings considering the NMM had been showing this for a while now.

Leeds Bradford airport shut now too

Just been outside and everything is coated in ice - I can barely walk on the path, cars are going very slow, bins completely coated.. very, very dangerous.

ice everywhere here, daughters school been closed, partner drove home at 20mph all the way, very very dangerous. accidents being reported, cars sliding everywhere, very foggy too be careful everyone!
