The UKmo picked it out first a couple of days ago, the ECM came on board and finally now the Gfs has firmed things up.

This is t72, any other time of year or type of weather and this would be nailed.

There's absolutely no chance it will happen just because it looks perfect for the north west we all know really the -5> uppers will keep pushing east with each run giving rain to all western areas before burying the east again. Really. Or the band won't even reach the north west so plasters Wales and southwest. Honestly one of those scenarios will happen because god won't

allow a good snow event in the north west.

It will be about time we get the bloody holy grail, although right now I'm doubting it. Since when do we in NW England get a snowfall event like that?

These were my initial thoughts earlier in the day. Seriously, if this happens I will do something I'll regret.

Might involve a new laptop.

Would you believe people in the north of England thread who all have snow are crying about the charts for Friday because they may miss the bulk of the stuff? Seriously!!

The model suspense is near killing me ! I know it's highly unlikely I will see anything significant but to just wake up to half an inch of snow sometime this weekend would bring a smile to my face.
