Coast, what's your view on that depression moving out of France on Sunday? Do you think it is likely to just skirt the extreme east of Kent and track NE?

I'm hoping it will cover the whole SE. 12z GFS is out in 30 mins or so and might guide us better.

You'll get more than your fair share on Sunday, looking really good for you then

problem is its always 2 days away for us, when it comes to the crunch it misses and then its another 2 days wait, i for one wont be laying any money on sunday , already theres doubts about that

About 12 cm here in Holmer Green (between Wycombe and Amersham) - lovely stuff! What do you think our chances are of a top up on Sunday too?!?! If the GFS 6Z forecast is anything to go by we could be looking at another 10 cm or so.....

Ohhh the dew point here is going from 0.0 to +0.1 and now back to -0.1 , we have a little sleet mixed in with the snow now, hope it's temporary as i really don't want to see a thaw already

Same in Eastbourne, I think we are experiencing some of the effects of orthographic lift from the Downs as it comes up The Channel and along the coast.

Good Afternoon all

First chance I've had today to pop into the forum! Went to work this morning just after 8am nothing here! But by 9am we had a covering followed by heavy snow around midday. Now have 5 inches laying snow and it's still snowing...much more than I expected. I work in a local school and we started to send the children home early so now home myself, what a fab way to start the weekend biggrin.png

to be honnest if it doesnt come by feb i dont want it lol to me winter is over mid feb and i like to move on with spring

Still snowing here. Very small flakes now, but still a lot of them falling from the sky. About 7cm on the ground and it's really drifting about a lot now.

This is crazy, temps has gone back down to -1.07c again and it's still snowing steadily.

To all those without snow, to be fair, you guys have the lions share with easterlies and north easterlies. Have woken up on numerous times to a dusting when you guys are shovelling your way out of a good dumping.
