Radar is good for Cardiff westwards! Looks like Newport might miss out for now, unless the band swings around a bit. Reports of rain or snow should be coming in any time now

It's intensifying as it gets past the M4 latest frame shows some yellows now over S.Wales apparently over me too but its dry here atm.

Oh how I hope it comes here if its rain i wont mind thunder to be mixed in with the equation!

I thinks the front is going to stall, as the showers behind the front pile up there would be a more considerable band of precipitation, thats what happened Friday! (however I dont think the extent of any snow is likely to be like Fridays)

Raining here now, mixed in with some flakes hope it turns to snow later!

Edit:Looks good precipitation over Exeter has intensified further heading in our direction hopefully this aids evaporation cooling!

Temperature plummeting here now. Was 0.6c at midnight, now -2.1c in some clear spells. Wonder if this band will reach here? No doubt the mountains kill its intensity!

M.O online forecast finally showing sleet for the early hours. Then further upgrades for Wednesday AM, heavy snow 0000-0600. All very confusing since the tv forecasts have been so brief and lacking.
