Metoffice radar has more heavy snow for my area later on.. it then goes on further for more heavy snow Wednesday.

Pepped up again! Reason why snow has settled faster than Friday: Bigger flakes and wind not as strong therefore snow falling vertically instead of horizontally, if Fridays event had the same conditions as now, +8inches would have been reached.

Actually think there is signs that its stalling and intensifying again. Another hour of this and we'll have a fair bit. Hope it stays around.

Some very intense showers just leaving the French coast. If they continue on their path and then reintensify as they hit South Wales after crossing the Bristol Channel in the same way that this band of snow did, then the rush hour could be a real laugh.

Still throwing it down with snow here.

Just looked at the traffic cams on travel wales. A470 from Coryton all the way up to Merthyr has snow settling on the road. Dangerous to drive on.

I think that's the main band that's not expected to hit until Wednesday AM? Not too sure though

Yes, it's very intense. Around an inch down so far. Wasn't expecting this so "early" in the night.

Starting to clear here now unfortunately. Still snowing but not like it was earlier. The next band to the South looks interesting tho.

They are, but I expect them to track slightly further east.

Eased off here, not sure for how long.

Well it just picked up again very heavy. Looking at the radar the precip to the South is quickly catching up what's over us now. Could merge.

Beacons and Merthyr getting hammered
