Jed - check the radar mate. the echoes suddenly seem a lot brighter....!biggrin.png

Ye thought it was an error in the radar at first, but the ones to the east of scotland/northumberland look at whole lot heavier!

Think at very worst these should filter down to us later, would prefer some showers just to pep up to the east of us though.

Yes that would be nice.

The NE / Northumberland coast always gets the tastiest showers. wallbash.gif Ok we live inland and that has its benefits sometimes as we know.!

Yep it's a tad annoying but there's got to be times where we do better :).

I think some heavy showers will affect yorkshire tonight now, but it's just a lottery to who gets them or not.

All that energy is filtering southwards so we should get that later in the night! smile.png

If it forms in bands then alot of people could have 5cm+ but thats all dependent on banding!

We did have a nice covering last night, but it had all gone by this morning, then this afternoon just some flurries but nothing to write home about, but tonight is looking good for a good few of us all these showers being blown well inland so would be nice to wake up to a lovely covering

Streamer incoming! Looks like it is at about Hornsea now and looks to have our name on it according to the NW wind vector overlay. This should lead to a fall lasting a fair while and add to the 1 cm we currently have on the ground.

I spent ten days in Bavaria last month and the temp never got above freezing and there was constantly snow on the ground and it snowed lightly on a fair few days, however, despite this, I am still excited. tease.gif Why is that?
