I think it has our name on it LSF,if it doesn't die awayclapping.gif

Good luck. The showers are blowing through very quickly, but leaving a nice dusting here each time.

Thanks SS,they do look like a blink and you miss it afair, could do with some more organized bands, just watched beeb forecast and they said the showers pehaps forming into more organized bands/showers of snow, lets see if that happens.

Snow streamer now well in progress: it has been snowing for about half an hour very heavily and everywhere is white. Looking at the radar there is plenty more to come from this one, however, depth will be a problem as it is all blowing away like sand on dunes. There will be some big drifts in places: I suspect the A1079 and the B1230 locally will see drifts on the tops.

Anyway the temp is currently -2.1°C and the DP is -4.3°C so not too marginal blum.gif

Showers appear to die out just before they reach South Yorks then pep up again over West Midlands. sorry.gif

yeh, noticed that, thats probably due to evaperation on the western slopes of the pennines, but could be wrong.

have you got google earth LSF,if so,you can use the street view(aim at your front door if you can)to give you a app bearing of your asl.

looks like some much beefier, bigger showers developing over the north sea now , not showing on radar just yet but on their way.

Hammering down here looks almost blizzard like in the strong winds. Don't think it would qualify as an blizzard but impressive never the less.
