Snow shower in Staines, second of the day. Nice sunshine inbetween, temp 6C with a light/moderate N breeze

Nice little snow flurry while just out on my bike. Remnants of a few drifts still about and you can still see a bit up on the downs.

Temp currently +5.1c

We've had a few snow showers here, and it looks like there's plenty more to come

I'm not worried, I may be viewing it from a different angle.....

Just had a 5 minute beefy snow shower in central London. quite heavy with temporary snow cover before the sun came out again. This is like April showers, only of snow instead of rain.

we've had 3 snow showers in the last half an hour. Looks like the sun and warmth is causing the showers (convection?).

I see Shannon Entropy has turned up in the MOD thread again, she's such a trollop air_kiss.gif

Just had a peek, knew I shouldn't have, Shannon is not a pleasant sight, tend to avoid it altogether whilst we have the cold in place, I have a quick scan of the weather models and then prefer our regional discussions - fluffy now cast snow showers, Ring-necked Parakeets and Tamara thinking about lunch LOL.

Large cell just came through here giving a huge dumping of Hail/graupel really thought i was going to get some thunder there the sky was just so black and hail was pea size.

Plenty of snow still laying on the ground here, especially where it had drifted, in town though, you wouldn't even know there had been snowfall on Monday / Tuesday, l can see plenty of precipitation headed this way, but I can't see any of it falling as snow, temperature is well up down here, no idea what the Dew Point is though.

The cell on the coast to my East has got a huge anvil on it, no more snow watch i'm over to storm watch lol.

Glad to see the convective indications we looked at this morning are about right, now we just want a Summer of thunderstorms and sunshine! ! clapping.gif

Very heavy snow shower just north of Peterborough at the mo', the flakes are huge! Grass just starting to turn white.

Mostly sunny here today so continuing the thaw however we did have a brief snow shower about an hour ago!
