Coming to an end now. Has settled on grass, fences etc... But not roads... Met office ramped it up, and still showing heavy snow until afternoon, when nothing more than light snow, with a few moderate bursts earlier..

Zero snow here, just grey damp and miserable. Very jealous of those further north who have got quite a dumping! cray.gif

Easing of a bit now - temperature rising slowly, now 1.3c. looking at the radar we may have seen

the best/worst of the snow for now here in NE Hampshire - main band moving away slowly NW. Will the large area to our NE

sink southwards? An uneven 1-2cms on the ground, very wet and a bit slushy!

Icy rain/sleet here, struggling to find a way of containing my joy and excitement.

On the plus side, it's Saturday so at least I don't have to work in it, every cloud and all that.

At least it's green, a large part of mine is brown due to dogs and rain...

About 3 inches on top of the cars, but anything on the ground is melting away slowly. The 20m height difference down in to the village makes a huge difference, virtually nothing settled down there.

Won't be a match on the pics I'll be getting from up here in Tamworth! :p :p

Nothing amazing though, less than what I had in Bristol in January.

Mine is like a bowling green on the top lawn blum.gifblum.gif I spend a lot of time on my grass rofl.gif steady light snow now blowing in wind which is strange as not much ppn on radar really. Have another look jeth it can't be far from you with colder uppers creeping in perhaps?

It's light snow here too.

Bowling green? I've been a gardener for more years than I care to remember but I just don't get the lawn thing, reckon it's a man obsession. Wrote a book for B&Q a while back, there was a whole chapter on lawns and caring for them, I've never struggled so much writing anything, as much as I struggled with that one. Required 10,000 words on caring for your lawn - I got as far as 'it's green, you cut it' before drawing a complete blank. Nightmare!

Must be a man thing but I love my lawn good.gif Snow getting heavier now with a few 50p flakes mixed in. looking at radar it seems a line of showers have just spawned over the mendips clapping.gif I spend a lot of money on my lawn and in spring summer it gets 2 cuts a week air_kiss.gif

I have given up on good old GB and booked a jolly to Spain with the girls. Watch out for that heatwave, which will start on the 2nd April & last 4 days, whilst Spain struggles with torrential rain. biggrin.png

Mull> You cut your grass twice a week? Nutter! I can barely bring myself to cut mine once a fortnight. Dull. Dull. Dull.
