I'm between you and Newbury - it's heavy and settling but roads should be passable.

Just woken up to find heavy snow falling here in north east Hampshire. I don't think its been falling for long, but it it definitely settling. Didn't expect this!

Dull and miserable here, it's going to be very frustrating watching that band of precip slip away to my north and east. When the temps will eventually be where they need to be.

yep plenty of precip streaming up from the SE...Some bright radar echoes now on our door steps.....could be a very interesting day!!

Snow a lot heavier hear now been light for an hour but looks like a strong pulse is heading over from the south , hope we get some meaningful amounts today , about half inch so far , but if we are to see anything like the weather warning says then we need to see some very heavy snow . It says 5-10cm on low ground in the area highlighted which includes glouc/Oxford

Just heard a reporter on TV saying there are 14ft drifts on some of the higher roads in Cumbria, cars completley buried!!! And it's bone dry here! It's torture!!!!

Heavy snow in Stroud, settling well above 150m, the common is white, down at 60m its on cars grass. Beautiful.
