Just out of interest what do you think of that free weather station some of us got ?  Mine seems to be undercooking the temperatues both inside and out by quite a margin. It is now showing 21.2c for the outside temperature and 18.9c for indoors. I know for a fact the outdoor reading is wrong and indoors it certainly feels a lot warmer than the reading its giving me. ?

I'm looking at it now and thought exactly the same. 22.2°C in the shade currently but it is in a funny court yard area. Indoor reading is 3°C down form a dedicated thermometer next to it so I suspect they are reading 2 to 3°C light - the humidity reading is way down. Still quite fun and I'm mentally recalibrating the reading to reflect something more like what it probably is.

the sun has finally arrived here too, the cloud has broken and the temps are climbing well.

Happy days Jax!

Robin, please post back my uniform! Posted Image

That's just the job Jan, straight round to Argos, in The Mall, tomorrow. Do you think they'll sell them there?

Btw, hope you didnt tell Rob that you hadnt washed your uniform after the goat and I had worn it, not at the same time, I might add.

Quote: "On the subject of Eric I would like to point out I did not goatnap him, he's chosen to live here being the free thinking creature that he is, I think he picked up on your disapproval about his fetishes, I'm am very open minded and quite happy to pass on my worn out undies to him when I've finished with them."

Ok Miss Angel, I take up your challenge.....on my terms!

Ali, we are very open minded on the Kent/London border too, believe me. As my odd cursory glance through Chislehurst residents windows, in the dead of night, proves. Only joking..........only do that in broad daylight, very brazen me.

Btw Ali, there's really no need to hide your embarrassment behind your hands, at your obvious future thrashing by the mighty Alpine Chislehurst, next Winter. It will be a whitewash.

Now watch an ENE fail to deliver in the Chislehurst area, next Winter, for the first time in the towns history, now that "Jinxy's" moved to the area.

Good evening to all, from a hot steamy Croydon office.

Tom.

The strong breeze of earlier is now easing off and after a slight drop an hour ago the temperature is back up to 24c under mostly clear skies. A near perfect summers evening. Posted Image

Miss Angel, so we've got a lake as well have we!

Well we might only have a pond but at least ours will be frozen over next Winter, when yours isnt!

Listen 'ere Treacle, sorry Ali, thought I was back in SE.London, for a mo. there.Erm, your puddle, sorry lake will be utterly useless to you in an ENE flow, where we, of course, lie a little downwind of the vast expanse, that is the Thames Estuary and our little pond will just enhance any Streamer snowfall.Anyway, enjoy your drinkypoos out in the fresh air of the Bucks countryside, while I'm slaving away (not) in this hot, steamy, airless Croydon office........ Please dont feel at all guilty!Tom.

Hi guys,

Hope your enjoying the nice weather today, it's feeling quite warm already here! I'd just like to say - I've never seen a BBC forecast looking as good as this for the next 5 days.
