Hi there

I dont know if it has already been mentioned on here but sunday evening at 7.30pm on C4 is a program called killer storms, not very good timing seeing what may possibly lay ahead for us this christmas time.

Was thinking of watching that, just to see which storms they will talk about. It's all British storms, I think.

Britain's Killer Storms on Channel 4 tomorrow evening. Er....sorry but I've forgotten what time it's on. :(

Are we expecting some rough stuff then, PL?

I'm not liking the idea of a wet and windy Chringlemas (no Brussel Sprout jokes please!) I'm just going to be thinking the same as I have tonight "if only it was colder and this rain was falling as snow"

it's very wet and windy here tonight but not bad enough to spoil the pub crawl...

Hi John,

Trouble is its going to be very difficult to get on the right side of that low pressure system without

any mid atlantic ridge.

It may just stall in that possition and keep us in a cool North westerly flow with lots of cold rain.

Shotski.

Shotski, Do not worry to much about the right side, Our Winter is about to be dragged in. Output over the last 2 weeks has gone very Jekyll and Hyde. We all need to place close attention to next week now.

I like this wet and windy ness. I really cannot see the attraction of a White Christmas. But that's just me.

Night all. :)

Cricket oh dear, football yesterday oh dear! Weather. Don't look any better, think I will go back to bed.

Obviously the weather comment was done when it was pitch black, as it a nice cloud free sky, heavy dew out on the car. Other comments still stand though.

you"ll be having a ball this week then and think Christmas has come early this year. Not for me Im afraid, I would like it to be like Christmas card scenes but living in this country I know its rare.

Morning CK, morning all.

No sunny clear skies here I'm afraid, dull as ditch-water and almost as damp. Still no rest for the wicked, got to get out and about and make the most of what light there is.

So, this weeks potential for storm Emily:

Just think if all that atmospheric effort went into something crystalline instead of a load of fast moving air!

Morning all

Had a long lie in this morning, first time in months I have been able to really do that, last nights wind and rain has passed and now breezy but dry for now with plenty of cloud, but  suprisingly not as dull as you would think it should be, but sure that will not last as more wind and rain is forecast for later today.

Good lunchtime. :winky:

Same crappy weather here now.

Off to the pub for the rest of the afternoon, for the Xmas raffle. I'll be taking my tablet there, to watch the live footie.

Apologies in advance for any drunken rambling later. Posted Image
