Yellow Warning of Rain for London & South East England :

Isle of Wight, Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton, West Sussex, Greater London, Kent, Surrey, Bracknell Forest, Wokingham, Brighton and Hove, East Sussex & Windsor and Maidenhead

Periods of rain, heavy at times, will affect parts of southern England later on Sunday and more particularly on Monday.

The public should be aware that this may cause some localised flooding.

Issued at:

1128 on Sun 15 Dec 2013

Valid from:

2100 on Sun 15 Dec 2013

Valid to:

2359 on Mon 16 Dec 2013

Slow-moving frontal systems, containing some very mild and moist air, look like bringing 20 to 30 mm of rain quite widely but perhaps nearer 50 mm in a few locations.

Looks like some of us might receive notable rainfall totals over the next couple of days, from NMM6.

safe to say

i hope this is wrong

is it not like the snow charts, where anything a week out is in FI and likely to change a great deal, or is it different with storm forecasting?

Appears winter has been cancelled in Milton Keynes, we had to close them as they were giving false readings for the snow depth cup, they phoned this morning with over a foot of snow (probably mud)Posted Image

I'd heard it wasn't very good .... the ice rink was plastic etc - was actually planning to go there with Mr P on our day off so glad we didn't bother - shame really as Campbell Park would be the perfect venue for a winter wonderland but this was more of a blunder land !
