That should be interesting, see if we get a sprinkling or not!

Just checked the NMM SR, MR and GFS. Not one spec of precipitation over me the whole run, out to February 19th, haha!

I think its gone funny too. Showers east of the Pennines just appeared from nowhere at 17:30!!

Looks like it just skipped from 15:45 to 17:30.

Its heading directly towards me hopefully it will get here just a few more miles.

You beat me to it Shadowfax.

The radar is showing a clump of light ish showers crossing the Pennines and heading straight for us.

I can't see much coming from them but wasn't expecting anything whatsoever so can't complain at even a few flakes.

Meanwhile the temperature is 1.4c so hopefully the right side of marginal for anything that does fall.

Very very light flurries might just make it.

Lol, the excitement is intense !!!!!!!!!!!.. :).!!!!!!!!!

It's funny really isn't it, clinging to every radar frame for a few flurries.

Sharp frost last night, awoke to -6 degrees with temps struggling to get above freezing. A beautiful still dawn, with the fells etched white against a lovely blue sky, alpine scenery..

However, we have had quite a bit of cloud and a keener wind - it has felt very raw.

Not sure how low temps will go tonight.

It's funny really isn't it, clinging to every radar frame for a few flurries.

Here in the North West it's not just the chance of snow we are clinging on to, it seems to be every type of weather available.

We really do seem to be bore fest central when it comes to weather and always on the edge of anything severe.

In the meantime though I've just had my couple of flakes so that's another day I can add to my ever increasing number of days with snow falling this winter.
