Streamer coming straight for here, typical now its too mild haha.

You can guarantee precipitation will go through hell and high water to make it here when the temps climb, but it'll all evaporate before getting here when it's cold enough lol

peeing down with rain. Radar looks good to NE similar to Monday night. Shame it's too mild now.

Yes I'm assuming it's due to the colder air filtering in from the East, the temperature has dropped from 4.7c to 3.6c in the last few hours. Frustratingly the precipitation is occasional light sleet.

I do wonder if we will get enough of an Easterly feed overnight to drag some of the snow showers now in the far SE this far West, more likely are fast moving flurries from broken Stratocumulus. There probably won't be much of a visible frost due to the wind and drier continental air, but there will be a penetrating frost making the ground hard (or harder than it already is).

Looks like clearing through. Earlier than forecast suggested I was hoping to see a flurry this evening. Temp at home is 1.6

Bit of ppn over east Devon currently heading SW, particularly light and i fancy that Dartmoor will stop the general advancement. Wonder if it hangs around and with the colder air coming in from the east that it turns readily a bit wintery.

The gloom has been brightened by some blobby wet snowflakes now falling as the temp continues it's decline, now at 2.8c, and an area of heavier precipitation arrives.

Also was the same yesterday , it's as if we have mountains completely surrounding frome sometimes when radar watching which of course we don't. Sometimes weather comes in fades before reaching us and reforms on the other side of us. That can happen both when weather comes in from the west and from the East. I find the local topology fascinating !!!!!

Hete you go Andy, can see the snow up at Longleat way, viewing it from Frome .
