Trouble is, the odds in favour are the same as rolling a ten-sided die, needing to get a 'ten'.

I was tempted to get excited but it is still only a 10% chance so there is a 90% chance it won't snow.... :hi::pardon:

I know which horse I would back.. :wallbash:

don't get carried away mate.........a current 10% chance of greater than 5cm means in reality a very low probability, a 10/1 outside bet...not good odd's, as Ian himself inferred, lots of uncertainty, lots to resolve :)

OK, so when are we heading for Creech Hill to welcome it in, a different tactic might appease the weather gods..

Yes and it could be that the 49ft height difference may come in to play, but Creech is easier to get to by car, AND is further inland than Swyre (sea air effect reduced!).

And "No" it was not I playing flashy flashy up there:oops:

Potential air frost ruined by last minute cloud rolling in. Meh.

Indeed. Swyres head though is not naturally the highest point in Purbeck. Lord Eldon actually built the mound on top of the hill to claim the highest point. To much time and money come to mind!

Pointless info but amazing what you remember from growing up in Worth Matravers,

Wow, what a lovely day. Just been for a walk along the strawberry line & the sun is shining, hardly any breeze. I'll take this from now until October please.

I personally would prefer it to get above 6c in the height of summer :D
