Not quite as cold as I thought it would be, only falling to -01.1C, still a frosty morning all the same and nice and sunny now.

-3.1c this morning and what an awesome day it is with clear blue sky and pleasant sunshine, the only cloud I can see is distant TCU to the far South which is presumably in association with the showers over the Channel.

Temperature peaked not long ago at 5.5c. Going to be another cold one tonight but looking to end of week this atlantic front looks like it won't make decent enough inroads to produce any snow. :nonono:

4 days of winter left.. the fat lady is warming up her vocal cords on this awful winter.

and by the looks of it, it would most likely be rain anyway - temps are far too high! Better that it stays try in my opinion.

Are any of your apps showing snow for Friday? I see 'sleet and snow' mentioned for the West, you must be in a good location this time NK?

It is showing light snow but I don't believe it to be honest with you. It has shown snow every week for last 2 months...

If those pixels don't arrive by 7.15am I will never see them anyway because I'm working in Wiltshire at not much above sea level :wallbash:

Need more than a prayer mat to get a covering looking at that.. :lazy:

Just think... if I had thrown towel in back in novermber and declared winter over I would have been able to get on with my life 4 months ago..

The METO have it a bit further east so all is not lost particularly on the higher ground.

Wondered that also.

In other news now -1.3 from -3.0. Does this mean cloud might be rolling in and there's a possibility of winter ppn?

Sat image from half hour ago. High cloud is probably pushing your temps back up.

Mine are going back up from -0.6C lol

Another stunner this morning, but the clouds are bubbling up now and just as I step outside with a cup of tea.

It looks like that's our lot, until possibly late Sunday.

A veil of Cs has encroached in the last few hours with some high Sc Both are pretty apparent on the Camborne 12z sounding. Front approaching?

Hard frost and a sunny start, cloud bubbled up during the day. I see Benson and Bournemouth were the coldest places in the South, at -6.5°C and -5.8°C respectively. It got down to -2.5°C here.

Temp: 6.6°C - Hum: 48% - Dew: -3.6°C - Bar: 1017.77hPa - Wind:  WNW/NW @ 2mph
