I think my small patio will be trumped by the vast expanse at your disposal!

Yes, early morning cloud and even a hint of drizzle at the coast has given way to a fine day. 17C and wind N force 4 on lunchtime bike ride. If the northerly wind continues that will peg the temperatures, but I have to say this more my preferred weather than Friday afternoon, Mrs Mike57 and our cat agree...

A still, sunny, mild evening on the Wolds, although pleasant sat outside this evening the garden could do with a drink, my sunflower is nearly as thirsty as me!

A lovely day here, into the 22C's as well so very pleasant in the sunshine  I have been off since Friday with Covid, but have thankfully had enough energy in me today to get out into the garden and mow the lawn for some much needed Vitamin D!

Same again tomorrow... weeding the patio and driveway next on the list before all being well to return to work on Wednesday

It’s a glorious start to the day, 22C already & rising….

If I was at work today I think I’d feel a headache coming on

Lunchtime bike ride looks promising, a degree or two down at the coast, but shorts and a tee shirt.

Regardless of the official temperature, my hyperactive mercury is having a field day…& it’s starting to warp my French doors!

Maybe I should be on the ‘moans’ page now

Lunchtime bike ride was good, the sea breeze was just starting to kick in here so the wind was Force 2 SE, but with cloud doing about 15mph from SW judging by shadows, Wind now E and temps pegged back a couple of degrees but still bright sun. (Which is why I like where we live)

What a brilliant day for mid summer - sunshine all day, with only a little light cloud covering which just made the high temps more comfortable. Still enjoying the warmth now - Happy Solstice everyone

But you know how quickly the forecasts can change so you can only be hopeful. Just make sure you’ve got your ‘top sheet’….is that a technical term? (I don’t do camping!).I just remember my first year at Glastonbury and someone who was in charge of our tent didn’t bring the ‘top sheet’ & it rained. It was very wet. I ended up sleeping in the car!

True, saturday could be ok round here ?‍♂️, will just have to watch the forecast closer to the day?

Tent technology has moved on from 'top sheet' lol i think that used to be to keep the rain off the inner tent if memory serves from my youth?

Don’t get touchy!  I was agreeing with you for agreeing with me for agreeing on camping . Didn’t think you’d misunderstood, just pointing out my own stupidity! BTW, being totally facetious at this point ??
