Breeze picking up a bit, light rain.

Just re-positioned my receiver antenna, felt quite cold on the hands with a screwdriver!

Maybe this first pass is the start of things to begin. Temp is dropping, from a 'gain' a hour ago from the pass of the rain.

The large area of heavy precipitation across Northern England will be interesting but I think it’s the stuff across Scotland that’s more likely to be wintry when it moves across the Midlands tomorrow morning.

I don't think I would rely on precip charts too much for next 24hr..  Quite a band of PPN up North and this is going to depend on the track of that low.  It really is going to be radar watch and a quick look out the window.   I love the silliness of it all, just hoping it might snow etc...

Yes, it doesn't feel cold this evening out of the wind and I'm over 700 feet up above sea level. Rain later I fear

The Met office showed how the warm sector would infill from the West before being shoved away by the cold northerly.

Great to see posts ❄️and earlier as forecasted regarding a wintry mix,

but more than most, loving to see its snowfall bring it on

In my back atm is DP 1.0c temps at 3.7c

All the fun to weather watching, now casting! The 'lampost watch'

Radar is moving fast precipitation wise. Give it a hour or two

This the best part, after hours on hours of model runs

That area of precipitation across Northern England is moving fast. Should be in Stoke soon. Reckon this one will be more wet than white except up in the Peak District where they’ll probably be getting buried.

144m give or take. 74 Seen it a few times. Radar watching the low is starting to show its potential swinging around

Yeah, looks like we'll have to wait until the early hours for those colder 850s to arrive.. and the Western flank will draw in the coldest air, which runs right across the West Mids! Lets hope there's still some precip around by then!

Gloucestershire but it gets the weather like the Midlands rather than the SW, there’s only been one comment in there in the last 2 hours I’m hoping to be in the sweet spot

Snowing in Buxton at 1600 feet absl. Getting closer

Look at that mass of precipitation. The whole region would be getting buried if the airmass was just a touch colder Not often we get such extensive and heavy precipitation in a cold northerly. Tops of the Peak District will be buried.

Just started raining here. Wind is absolutely howling
