Looks like I’ve slept through anything falling. Some evidence of sleet or snow on next doors shed… see other areas have done well

A wet (away from notable elevation)

b. Uncertain - elevation important 

c  white 

the lines obvs have a margin of error west/east and precip intensity can drag that freezing level down locally)

Snowing here near Tutbury, a couple of centimetres but it is wet snow. Still great to see.

Just turned to snow in leicester but no very light precipitation!!need the damn precipitation!!we are in the B zone!!

Just about to head upto North Derbyshire - Buxton

Were going, "the vans loaded" as "there are only warnings about wind " and "its just a few flurries" ( in the southern tip of Derbyshire)

It’s headed south - will likely be white (at least in the sky) for a while as I expect some lower dp’s to be dragged in from the north  

looks a bit short lived in most places

Snow losing it’s strength here now, but has been leaving a wet 1cm(ish) covering. Came down really nice and thick for a time earlier

Wow.... Woke up to dinner sized flakes for breakfast.!!!!

Temp 0.4C, Dew Point -2.4C with 82% Rel Humidity.

Looks to be about 2-3 cms.

What a great start to the weekend.

More snow then I was expecting, I estimate 3cm maybe 4cm on tarmac surfaces at the peak. At least we know it will not be a snowless season!

Been snowing here for quite a while now - moderate to heavy at times  - big flakes. We have a covering too.

Yeh thought it stick around a bit longer!!!gfs 18z had some really heavy snow for the midlands especially east side at 12pm!!
