A likely high of 2 Celsius , will mean this is the coldest November day for the area since 2010

Still a good covering of snow here and temperatures remaining below freezing. Maybe some additional snow later before the warmup on Tuesday

sometimes this is the best feeling, knowing the snow is on the way, radar returns look great, good reports from other members, temp is 1c, dp is ok

i mean the anticipation is a good feeling, that ppn looks pretty good for quite a bit of snow top up, haha well here at least

This is really pepping up off the Irish Sea, I think the METO will be pushing a warning out very soon

Further to my post just now, looking at the latest radar, the West Midlands is looking primed and waiting

Tiny-flaked flurry just started outside the window in Loggerheads (near Market Drayton) - the mass in the Irish Sea is looking very interesting indeed....

Just a guess and if it does not lose instensity etc..  A bit like what @Dancerwithwingssaid but more inclusive of East Mids maybe?

I agree, I must add a lot of the models have it further west, less precipitation and later, but no that isn’t the case, this is why you can’t beat the good old radar, looking good for many now and your certainly in the mix sheikhy

Loads bigger than forecasted, does that mean the flakes will be bigger ?

Yep..

The area seems to be increasing in size (both over the Irish Sea and to the East of the Pennines).

We may get the stuff over the Irish Sea into the Bham area, but a latest report states that this is also turning to snow inland.

Looking very promising for mid afternoon in the Central Midlands.

MIA
