Just posted in the SW/CS regional thread, but I'm wondering if we'll see the western edge pep up a little over the next few hours, as the cold air overrides the warmer Irish Sea. Hopefully then advecting moisture SE in the form of a streamer maybe?

Back home now after walking the dogs a few miles over the snowfields, very cold here with temp currently -1c and still snowing moderately with some heavy burst's.

2-3 miles east of here looks very dark so would say anyone east of a line north to south through brownhills looks good

Some grey/blue patches of cloud in the sky showing now, still nothing falling. Large hole in radar over West Mids also, moisture seems to be being taken by the welsh hills and reform 80 or so miles downwind, may get a dusting here, but that's it i reckon.
