Merry Christmas everyone! 1.6* in Glasgow, but feels a bit colder due to easterly wind. Once again, the seemingly never ending foggy overcast engulfs my part of the city. Dreich is a perfect word to sum up the conditions.

Good morning and a Happy Christmas from a clear but cold Isle of Skye! A walk will be the order of the day before I get down to the serious business of making din-dins and stuffing my face! Hope you all have a lovely day! :drunk-emoji::cold-emoji:

Merry Christmas everyone.

No snow around the house this year but the  hills to the SW are white. A bright sunny day with temperatures close to freezing.

Snow fell overnight in Aberdeenshire, Shetland, Perthshire and the Scottish Borders.

Well, there we were again, propped up in the old four-poster, looking out at the street in front of my cottage and watching the drizzle all very much as before. Except for the dog. Unexpected dog. The wee, black, floppy-eared, curly haired dog that licks a lot. The dog isn’t mine. It came with my daughter, who moved in to oversee my recovery. The dog isn’t hers either. It was left with her mother by a friend who’s abroad visiting family, but mum is also now away visiting family, so the dog’s here. And I mean right here. Under my armpit helping me type this. And here is now up at the farm where I’ve been whisked off to for Christmas. I’m quartered in the barn, in a bale of hay with the sheep and chickens and something that rustles occasionally over in the corner by the door, for that authentic Christmas experience, although I suspect it’s a lot colder than the original. Thankfully no angels yet. Just the hound from Hell.

It’s a bright, almost sunny day, but deeply cold and gently breezy, and smelling of poultry and animals.

I wish you all, specially those a bit under the weather, all the very best of the season. Have a great day.

There was snow in Banchory just around midnight so I’m told by DS, I was out for the count by that time however. Sadly none left when I got up this morning but we have blue skies with the odd cloud blowing over and currently 3.2c, DP -2.2c

0.9C and sunny with scattered clouds, not a bad Xmas Day and certainly much better than most of the recent weather.

So a Merry Xmas to all you weather obsessives. Presents well past opened, phone calls made, turkey cooked, veg prepped, maybe ill get a chance to sit in peace now without the wife stressing over something.

I’ll be working in Banchory as of next month! Will be looking for a few tips, and hoping to see some snow myself

Merry Christmas from St Ives, Grey, drizzly and warmish with Christmas surfers.

Currently trying to cook Christmas dinner for 6 in a very bijou holiday cottage. Big grown up son has escorted granny (my 92 yo mum) back to her flat for an hour to allow me to baste and chop in peace.

If time, and conditions, permit, take the drive from Cockbridge over to Tomintoul. If the snow is in place and the roads are clear it is stunning

ECM isn't to shabby at the end either. Not cold and snowy quite yet on this frame but heading somewhere similar to the GFS

Merry Christmas folks. A dry, bright and cold day, felling pretty seasonal.

And now a few snowflakes floating about under the lamppost. Enough to chalk up a white Christmas here ☃️

Same here, very light snow falling here!

I guess I can class Christmas 2021 as a white one
