That’s already wrong . The models have made a real drama over this .

Well it looks like us in Thanet are going to be a miss.  Had very icy rain with occasional tinsy winsy snowflakes.  You had to look very hard though.  I was out walking the dog and got caught in it all.  Getting drenched instead of snowed on.

Looks to me on radar like its going to be too far west for our little spot near the coast.

Of course in anyone wants to correct me, then feel free 🤔😁😂

Spot on I'm afraid. East Kent and Essex were forecast to miss out on the good stuff

Not that the met or anyone is picking it up so I could be horribly wrong but… this pivot could still bring a lot more snow for Kent into the earlier hours of the morning? Does anyone agree?

Big problem for the gritters, sub zero temperatures and raining, you can't grit that

Indeed, you can't... Back in Jan 2010 when I was living on the shore at Inverness, a day of light sleet showers suddenly turned into a massive blizzard of graupel -- up until then there was no problem, but the sub-zero undersurface soon created Accident Central. Half an hour's precipitation was all it took!

Heavy snowfall in Dartford now. Settling with ease.

Amazing the difference of a few miles.  Snowing here in Bexleyheath but not settling 😭

Just to let you know it isnt all rain on the coast. It started as rain for a few hours here in Eastbourne and didnt take long to turn into this, even with the soaked ground 🙂

Same in Brighton, or certainly Saltdean.

A Nightmare to forecast I'm sure with fine margins, even some inland places are ending up with more of a sleety mix than the settling snow on some coasts.

I possibly trimmed the first few hours off as it was a 24 hour total !

the model has it south of London and then pivoting on London with snow all the way from south of the capital  and around towards Norwich. We will see over the next six hours if it’s got the western extent wrong
