Decided to move yesterday’s garden party to today, which was a good move, but even today there are pesky showers on the radar!

Gawd I hate this climate.

As I mentioned earlier, you're holding the party in the wrong place! We didn't have a drop of rain yesterday, and today is looking equally dry.

And the garden is beginning to look a bit like this

Interesting talk appearing in various rags about water saving measures in some areas.

Greyish here today with showers in the vicinity, but nothing has hit so far.

It's been mostly dry over the last 2-3 days, but the few showers we have had here have been very heavy. Hence, the garden is once again happy and the water butt full.

All mine are empty now, and look to be for the foreseeable days ahead.

Morning All, just in single digits overnight with 9.8°C at: 02:41, currently 20.0°C, RH67% and light air movement from the NW at 3mph, which I'm sure will pick up as the air heats today.

From above, again a fair amount of cloud over the western part of the area, adding showers, for the lucky few!

Weather is in troll mode it seems.

While not wet, May and June have brought ample rain here. Both months brought 61mm, which is a bit above the May average and quite a bit more than the June average here. April was dry though, so if July gets its behind in gear and August is dry... then it may become an issue.

And again! Meanwhile my Dorset colleague in Wareham is doing well today. And what irks me the most I am watching the shower pass right over Wareham,  close but no cigar

Still very little rain here as yet again all the showers over the weekend missed. It already looks very dry out there with no rain in sight over the coming days.

Cleared up nicely yesterday afternoon, and was clear all night but cloud has returned with a vengeance since dawn and it’s chilly!

Tell me about it, since I stopped working, some nights become very looooong, often waking around 2 or 3am and then iPad time until 6. As it happens it did manage to drop marginally lower, down to 7.3°C at: 05:30, currently 20.4°C, RH60% and a 7mph light breeze in from the NNW. After clear skies earlier (dawn) fair weather Cu has started to build up.

You poor thing What time do you go to bed? Do you nap during the day? I go about 12:30 and up at 730 with kids and then I go back to bed after breakfast and nap 10-1! I couldn't function without that nap ...

20.8c and good sunshine 15 minutes ago so we sit outside for tea. It’s now gone gloomy and breezy with the radar showing showers in the Bath/Bristol area.

Yep... spots of rain now. This weather is an absolute joke. And to think this time last week, this week was looking fine....

Roll on 35C to remind us what month it actually is!

It varies, but usually awake around 06:30 -7:00, and no kids to pack off to school, no Naps either.

If the suggested heat next week does build that'll certainly mean sleepless nights, mind you I purchased a new fan, and this thing is so quiet as it is a DC motor, but blows a hoolie, so that'll be a good test for it!

Well that's squeezed the life out of those!
