A little evening fireworks in Zaragoza to whet the appetite. Not much rain and the storm typically split in two before hitting here but plenty of instability about and thunder heard.

It seems to be building to the eastern edge. Slowly, but surely

Yeah, I think Dorset could be coming into the game; we've all seen many times how the easternmost flanks of these storms are able to tap into more energy and extend eastwards.

Still looks game on for my location overnight. Definitely looks like it's trying to intensify to the east and die out on the westernmost part of the storm.

Hoping we see a thunderstorm tonight in Exeter, it seems to heading in this direction on the netweather radar, maybe midnight? I was sitting out in the garden with my friend late evening and could see distant flashes on the sky, I was surprised to see them from a storm over 100 miles away, can’t see any flashes at the moment.

Hoping for torrential rain and lightening tonight 🤞

Lightning getting more frequent to the NNE of here. Lovely show! Occasional low rumbles heard.

Something is helping these cells initiate still... roughly in a line from Bridlington to Chester.

Hope so, I’ll keep you all posted, should be here by midnight though I’m feeling tipsy which is making me feel sleepy. It’s another warm night, would he be happy for the rest of the month to be like this, this is like compensation for July and most of august 🙂

I don't care that there is no storm forecast for sussex tonight or tomorrow.

My all time favourite storm occurred in July 2014, which was completely unforecast.

I live in hope that something unexpected crops up lol
