Bright and wet at the same time earlier, but the clouds have now filled in with a bit of rain. At least it's mild. Not nice!

Cloudy and spots of rain.

I'm trying to change the handlebars on my stepsons motor bike. I've got the bits off the old one , just need the rain to stop before fitting it all on the new set.

Picked up 39.5 mm this morning at 9GMT for previous 24hrs.   That's 65.9 mm so far this month.

Land sodden and unmanageable again despite the improvement last week.

Outbreaks of light rain all morning .  Might be a clearance now. 

But fax charts suggest the "banana express" will keep coming for a few days.   Take your pick --  from the Azores or the Caribbean.     Maybe  similar to the "pineapple express" whicj brings  stormy wet streamers from Hawaii to western US.

Just had a 20 minute drought  back to drizzle

Bits and pieces of rain and nothing more, bus still very dark and gloomy.

Managed to put the bike back together.

Mild damp day precipitation mainly in the drizzle category… day for spring cleaning… cleared out three large cupboards and office resulting in car filled to brim for tip run tomorrow… 

hopefully drier weekend and next week

Morning, temps didn't get as high as I thought yesterday, no sunshine to boost them.  Rain this am and 11.2°C.

Overnight rain has cleared away and a bright start to the day.

Gosh, the cloud level is lifting to about 500m first time since Sunday seen it at such a level. A woeful week so far for anything bright or even just high cloud.

Whoa! Monsoon shower at 1pm and fortunately indoors at the time. A front moving through perhaps? A bit surprised as it was quite bright an hour earlier. Looking at the clouds, I think we've got more showers to come before they are forecast to move away to leave a cold night and a better day tomorrow.

10 years today, I recorded my first ever timelapse, that of a setting sun.

No sunshine today, but far brighter than the last 4. Some blue sky at times and the clouds lifted to reveal tops of fells briefly. A rare cold night ahead, touch of air frost possible. Tomorrow will dawn fine but sadly deteriorate as it goes on.

Haha, some of my colleagues are there and keep going on about it.

Sadly their kids still have online school, there are no real snow days since COVID told us we can work and learn remotely!
