I have just drove back from worksop to Norwich in a van and the wind as picked up high gusts chucking the van about.

Gusting into the 40s quite frequently now but nothing particularly severe so far. 1am - 3am for peak gusts by the looks of it.

The big gusts here are now on par with the heaviest gusts from Isha, just not as constant.

@Nick123 Oh, good grief! Not what I wanted to hear. I'm hoping it's a tad weaker, but the direction of the winds can have a big effect on the Central Belt wind tunnel. GFS has it a little weaker so I'm pinning my hopes on that.

I'm in North Cornwall, not in the warning area but wind has really ramped up here gusting 60+ . My sister nearly got knocked off her feet in one.

Gusts picking up here into the 50s at my location with horizontal drizzle.

Peak gust in Buxton today (so far) has been 42mph, but what was more noticeable is just how mild it felt outside at 12'c when in the shade. Not quite 'shorts & t-shirt' weather but definitely didn't need the down jacket for a walk into town.

Some strong gusts earlier when outside, can make walking a little difficult against that but other than that nothing too noteworthy or as strong as Isha for now. Still a bit blustery.

I think the highlight was when a gust of wind made an empty wheelie bin tip over right next to me as I walking which made me literally laugh out loud.

Very mild at 13C here. I think a few spots further west touching 15C which is very close to the date record.

Definitely picking up a bit now with gusts to around 50mph. Almost identical timing to Isha in terms of when the stronger winds arrived.

Rather blustery here in good old Somserset in the last half hour .

Obviously not on a par with the rest of the country but interesting nonetheless.  

It has been very wet here today and very dark all day .

The wind has really ramped up here in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire  in the last hour.

More sustained gusts than storm Isha for sure.

Winds really picking up here in South Yorkshire now, its more of a Westerly direction than Sunday's storm which can cause some severe gusts just East of Pennines.
