Tonight in Dublin for me is a big let down after being led on so to speak...

Its kinda like you are in a bar and when you first arrive to get a drink, a cracking looking blonde smiles over at you (lets say, FI). You have a couple of drinks and exchange a few more nods and smiles at the blonde (moving into the more reliable timeframe)...

[snip for forum space]

Hahahaah......funny analogy there.

But so true.....

:D

According to BBC forecast it doesn't get as far north as Derby until later and then it'll be dying out - and there was me thinking that Derby was finally going to see some snow. :D

Oh well, enjoy it down south :(

Holy S**t, check out the 4:00am radar on the MET site. Have you seen that huge area of intense precipitation now leaving france and crossing the channel in a NW direction. Someone is gonna get a blizzard me thinks, possible Kent!

Looking good for NE France... thats some serious precipitation.

Medium blues on the radar overhead, but not a sausage falling from the sky, -1.2 now.

If it's anything like it is here, Mr Murr is certainly not exaggerating! I can still only see 2 lamposts down the road, and everything (including the well gritted roads...congrats Bromley Council) is covered.

Is all the so-called precipitation on the radar from Nottingham down to the main band, now somewhere around Milton Keynes utter b*llocks?

Nothing has been falling out of the sky here.
