Hi

The sky is white here in Aberdare, had a few flakes of snow but nothing much, its just blowing in the wind. Rang my father and spoke to him and he said Newport in Gwent is the same.

Radar looks interesting, whether it`ll reach this far although a cold front is coming west.

WOW BBC COUNTRY FILE FORECAST PRACTICALLY SAID SNOW FEST:D EVEN 40CM IN THE PENNINES A FOOT AND A HALF OF SNOW I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT.

YEY. What about here though? it always showed the snow dispersed over us again, it's asif they're not forecasting correctly and they don't partically care about Wales because were not as populated? Any thoughts?

this is going to be an incredible snow event by the looks of it, going by that countryfile forecast.

some places of the UK are going to get HAMMERED by the looks of it.

i think it's more a case of wait and see, cos they don't really know how bad it could get.

I thought tomorrow was going to be the main snow event but now for some parts of the SW, South Wales and Central Midlands on thursday could be a very good day. The band of snow was more organised and probably more heavy, just seems to good to be true. :D:D:D

Very vague indeed on the front Monday night into Tuesday, and the area of snow for us which is the occlusion to the west of the triple point not shown in that much detail.

However some snow showers later on today into tomorrow, and it did show some snow into Tuesday, which is a bit strange in that how did it get there without passing over us in the first place on Monday night.

Not looking at the detail beyond this, but still further chance of snow during the week.

There is an element of that, there is a large degree of uncertainty at the moment, also there might be a few snow showers overnight that might cause some slight problems.

Also no mention of the snow turning back to rain.
