Brrr, just come back from walking the hounds - chuffin' freezin, I think my cheeks fell off 2 fields ago. Rawest wind chill for many a year & lots of flurries in the air here on the Oxon/Warks border.

This is AWESOME! Snow flurries starting to get heavier here and to my East the sky is "black as night" as my dear old grandad says. Looking at the radar there is a stream of showers coming towards me that is stretching back to the East coast! Should make their way into the West Midlands as the day wears on too

That Country File forecast was something else - looks good for us Midlanders on Thursday too with a front stalled over us giving us even more! :)

Wrt what Andy said here is a good satellite loop to have a look at:

clicky

Currently sunny here but clouds whizzing along on the easterly wind -won't be long until I see a flurry I reckon :)

Don't know whether I'm east or west mids ... but we've had the first snow flurry here.

I see that there are some real possibilities of some further events in the week and no warm-up inbetween to get rid of lying snow !
