I'd wait and see what happens.

Currently it feels far too warm for any snow to fall round these parts. Things could change though....

The notherly flow after Thursday looks very promising for snowfall in the NE. Snow showers for certain with the possibility of troughs developing and creating some longer periods of snow.

Yes it does indeed - I'm not sure whether you've seen that latest Meto update, but it looks very promising, also :D

According to XCWeather it's: 3c with a Dew point of 1c

I'm a bit behind the times here but I though I'd report on last nights snow here in Scalby, just outside of Scarborough.

Maximum depth on pathways and wall was about 1cm, and the snow lasted a couple of hours and was mostly light, although it became more moderate just before it cleared.

Most of it has thawed during the sunny morning, and some still remains as ice in sheltered areas :)

It's the similar here too. This morning started off cloudy with the occasional glimpse of sunshine, but it started to become misty at

around lunch time. I quite like this kind of weather though

I'm kinda reckoning that any snow will be sheffield and South Yorks. If we get ANYTHING in or around Leeds it will be a miracle.....

im still optomistic about tonight, is that good????

No, because it might mean you'll end up being disappointed :)

Seriously though, I suppose there is still time for change, but I think the forecasts we are witnessing at the moment

have the track pretty spot on.

GFS 12z is out soon, so it will be interesting to see what that says

Just been looking at the latest 12z run, for a little further out, and, although there is plenty of cold available, I can't see where the

precipitation is going to come from for any real snow to fall.

Unfortunatly the models have backed down for us at the very last minute... :(

I think we will see some light sleet turning to snow overnight, but nothing significant. Just the way it goes sometimes..

But I think wednesday morning could catch us out, an interesting little feature moving down from the north west could maybe deliver a few centimetres.. :)

a bit far out tbh, the ppn isnt huge so a lot of changes will occur, and a few cm's is useless as it melts in the afternoon

Ive decided not to give up just yet, it is unlikeley that we will get any heavy snow, but a bit of light snow is a high probability

Looking at tonights Models, there's plenty of possible action for next week, but it's all much

too far out to get excited about atm.

looks like staying cold though :)
