no thunder here just rain, what the bloody-hell is going on?

It died down when it reached south Wales, NW radar only green over you. However more lively ones near Cardiff.

Well i feel a little more happy now as iv just seen my first distant lightening strike to my SE followed by a rumble of thunder. :lol:

Literally on the very southern tip of an impressive cell. I can look right up and see the border between clear sky and very dark cloud. Although no thunder audible from the beast yet.

As long as the cell to my east does'nt die, then it should hit Weston full on.

Some development ahead of it over the channel too which could develop. Could be a big surprise for some!

I think it's coming from the one to the South, saw some good lightning from that one earlier.

that cell is just east of me, nothing coming from it here but it could develope as it heads towards you

just had the mother of all downpours on site had to be 4 to 5 mm in 15 mins....and its got even more humid..its like baywatch down here. lasses stripping to pants and bra's :lol: ...i love thunderstorms on glasto weekend :D

Kinda looking forward to Radar watching tonight and see those storms really get going. I hope people keep posting to let everyone know what's going on, even if it's early in the morning. :lol:

Radar watching and reading the reports/viewing photo's is some compensation for those who don't have storms and still adds to the excitement.

Just to add we now have Alt cas drifting in with a very mild easterly breeze with temp at 20.4c humidity at 60% and dewpoint 12c

Here's hoping for tomorrow and hope it's a good one if you get a storm
