Not long ago (21:30) had a short sharp thunderstorm here in Norton Fitzwarren, couple of really close strikes, knocked the power out briefly a few times, now its rumbling away in the distance.

that storm coming out of le havre is intensifying

Is that heading North.... if so I think I maybe in line for something, currently deciding if it's worth staying awake late tonight.

 It's all up in the air now. The thunderstorms which are meant to start affecting the SW in the early hours are already here according to the latest BBC forecast and will continue from now until the morning. After that, they then die a slow death before reaching the Midlands. However another line of thundery showers/storms will move up from France to affect mainly C-Sern and parts of the SE.

Bloody typical

They break off in a V shape as they head towards me, it's eather wales or the east that gets em.

I wonder if I turn norwegian and start praying to Thor I might get some lol

Its been going more and more grey to the east, but the clouds arn't really moving very quick. To dark to see now But could possibly be a storm brewing just out to sea, i wouldn't put it past it round here.

The 12th June Event all kicked off with a small cell that developed just out to see and turned into a multicell monster which saw some of the most frequent lightning displays i've seen.
