Beautiful structure heading this way, a solid wall storm tops towering overhead to the W and SW, can see updrafts feeding up into the storms, another storm a few miles to my South. Really powerful convection, and the base of the storm on the Western horizon is pitch black, I have my eyes trained on it for CGs.

The structure of the storm to my S is less impressive, but its very very dark nontheless, another weaker storm to my SE.

If we get a rumble here it will be one storm every week 5 weeks in a row.

Showers developing around Norwich now although so far we've stayed dry- a line of T-storms approaching from the west now according to the radar, should be interesting!

Yes - very dark clouds passing to my west/northwest at the moment.

Getting darker here. I think theres about to be a thunderstorm.

OK so in fact actually no.

The smallish thunderstorm has just finished here in Lincoln with some fairly loud CG lightning and thunder. I think this just reaches the threshold for "thunderstorm" so I have added it to my sig :cc_confused:

Distant booms are to be heard, rather active updrafts heading this way. :cc_confused:

The particularly active London storm may skirt just to my N, while the other is passing to the S, the London storm is pushing out a weak gust front with a very dense precip curtain behind, with hints of grey/green, hail is on the menu perhaps. :)

The first trough line gave just 0.5mm of rain here with us falling between two very powerful cells. No thunder was heard either and at a glance the radar suggests the next approaching trough could do similar.

Still a couple of loud booms, can't grumble.

Andy is jealous lol

String of brilliant white anvils with v dark bases all along the W skyline

That must be the trough line Harry, it looked similar here at around 09.00-10.30 as the trough edged in from the West.

Some of the anvils have spread out by miles today leading to a generally cloudy sky.

Oh Dear - Pretty poor effort - Storm seems to be weakening

What I was just about the say also - looks far less exciting now than 15 mins ago! :( Just the one rumble for me then :(

Heavy rain hasnt even hit - had big fat drops earlier, now drizzling! Oh dear....

Yeah, I can see your storm, and its looking pretty angry.

The London storm is part of a multicell line stretching NE'wards, big long black rain curtain, obviously someone is going to get wet. :(

Quite an impressive churning updraft base approaching from the West, perhaps I will have a giant Van De Graff generator parked above my head soon. :)

Very angry deep boom of thunder, the whole thing is skirting just to my North so I can't see it from my window!

I'd re-assess that is it moves nearer - skies looked super about 15 mins ago - now nothing more impressive than a light shower!

Radar shows what were three lines of intense showers converging pretty much overhead, each killing the others off!

Only places that look optimistic on the radar are the downpours heading into NW Kent now, and one to the WSW of me on the end of the three lines....poor!! Counts a thunder activity for my chart :( but perhaps the poorest I've ever seen!!
