Hmmm i'm concerned. Just looked on XCweather... Cardiff temps 3c dew point 2c... That is worrying because it will never snow with that temp. Also in Hereford the temps are around 2c with 2c dew point that is also worrying because that is too high again and will not snow in those kind of conditions. I hope the temps drop a bit but I can't see the temps dropping through the daytime hours :p

Yep rain for me then night lol.

Temperatures are FINALLY dropping after a few hours of nothing but rain here.

METO severe warning has been extended to a larger area, valid from 9am.

A465 Highest Point traffic cam shows a covering of snow that wasn't there 30 minutes ago!

Nothing but rain here, however looking at the Met forecasts on BBC it does look as though its early afternoon before the snow really develops.

Very heavy sleet / rain mix with blustery, squally gusts of wind. I really can't see how this could possibly stick if it comes down as snow later....the ground is sodden already :p

If this had come down as snow it would have been amazing......:p

Same as that here, temp now 2.1C and slowly falling, so it might turn to snow in a bit, and if its heavy enough and last long enough then there is still a chance it could stick, its happened like that here before, just gotta hope i guess!

Just woke up, the missus said it was raining earlier but started to turn to snow about 645am..moderate and blowing. Temperature 1.4C

Seen the BBC forecast on 1 and it was snowing in Cardiff. The snow area seems a lot more widespread on their grpahics however it showed it turning to rain then snow then rain then snow....what sort of gunk is this going to turn into then...

The ground is starting to sludge up now and the gardens showing a whiteness so the ground temp has dropped and hopefully will settle.

Lamp post watching like never before...still very dark here and going to be a very dark overcast snowy rainy windy day...

Yeah and im not sure we are gunna get anything from this today now, we don't seem to be doing to well in these last few cold spells, i think there is some sort of anti-snow bubble around bridgend :cold:
