Barely a flurry here early pm, though Cambridge centre 12 miles NE apparently had quite a fall early pm. Clear starry sky now.

Yep

Lol who would have thought with the wind swinging into the East we would get done over by a shower which all day the steering flow has been NW Would have come straight to us :)

Law of the Sod! Not much Instability down in the Estuary like there is further up the Coast, if there was fromnow then it would be game on as the winds will be ideal in the next 6 hours - Ho Hum

Think us SE Essex folk will miss the Ipswich ppn. It will clip Chelmo then dump in the fields down A130 before heading west of Bas Vegas I reckon :)

I'm half a mile from the A130 so I could get lucky

Do not think we will catch the heaviest of it thats for sure, areas like chelmsford, witham and maldon could do very well. Reports from Clacton for us in south essex could be very handy.

We need to see ppn in the N.Sea rather than the Suffolk coast. It will all miss us unless some develops off the coast of Clacton etc. All heading down the A12 route. :)

Saw that forecast, what a great presenter Rob is, especially when there is Snow on the menu.

Yes just watched the BBC forecast and its excellent for this region.

Like I said earlier widespread snow showers tomorrow/Saturday. The snow for Sunday covered half of the UK. The UKMO model suggests the heaviest precip will be in E Anglia/SE which isn't surprising considering its coming from the SE. Don't forget though this precip might not need to be heavy to give large snowfalls because its likely to be very persistant.

Light snow in Ashingdon again. Can't believe these showers are so spread out people 1 or 2 miles down the road are missing them!
