East Anglia thread for EA and SE thread to include all of Essex?? Or you could have "Bumpy bit on the side and along the coast including London and Kent" and "Everyone else" lol

Split it East Anglia from London and the SE

or

Split East - Suffolk, Essex, Kent from the North and West - Norfolk, Cambs, Northants, Sussex. Londoners can join which-ever region depending on location.

Hi how can we go about requesting a seperate thread for the two?

The number of posts makes it very hard to find comments that are relevant to my area.

Totally agree, although I think this site is generally fantastic it's a bit too much for me to keep up with when it's this busy.

Perhaps if we were split into East Anglia, South East, and Home Counties it would be better ?

Hi all, I am a newbie here. Have been lurking and relying on the forecasts from you all since getting totally stuck on Bluebell Hill in Decembers event. I have been really enjoyiing learning from everyone whilst reading and almost feel like I know you all already.

I am meant to be in Canterbury tomorrow doing a street collection for a Greyhound Rescue charity that I volunteer for, just wondered if onyone from that area could tell me if I should cancel?

Just Make it an East Anglia and another thread South East , otherwise it could get confusing and that would be the easiest way

Agreed, separate threads for EA and the SE is all that is needed!

I think split would be reasonable given the amount of people from this region. During the busiest times you lose track of posts.

In other news, just had a heavy snow shower here, it's posted another decent centimetre and I only realised it happened when I saw the radar. Very cold here, it's been below -3c since 4pm and currently -4.9c.

I'll add some more confusion, just where the hell is Milton Keynes?

1) Met Office lists us under SE England.

2) TV stations are in the East Anglia region.

3) MK is in Buckinghamshire, is this not classed as the south midlands / southern england? After all we're 60 miles NW of London allmost in the middle of the country geographically

Agree 100%. Posters will migrate to the right place. Don't overcomplicate it.
