I dispair!

The Flash warning for heavy snow last night expired at 11am. It's not an upgrade nor downgrade.

Edit: looks like Essex, mid Wales and the Pennines will be included in an Early warning now!

12:03 I posted this - keep watching :D

Canterbury light to moderate snow all morning , still snowing now , clouds look a lot higher now and it's getting a bit brighter. Temperature has risen noticably to a balmy 1.7 C.

We got up to 1.6c down here about an hour ago.

Now 0.8c in Folkestone.

Heavy Snow Sun 10 Jan

There is a moderate risk of severe weather affecting parts of England and Wales.

Further outbreaks of snow, some heavy and prolonged, with accumulations of 2 to 5 cm generally and locally around 5-10cm over high ground. Strong winds will cause drifting of snow. There will also be further icy stretches on roads and pavements.

Issued at: 1158 Sat 9 Jan

So that is Kent, Sussex, Suffolk, Norfolk with warnings for snow from the East but Essex dows not get Included

Maybe Rain from the Estuary
