Wind to strong wind blowing them through to fast ,anyhow looks like showers seems to be more organised over ireland hopefully be more potent before reaching here.

Oh i get what you mean but the heavier the showers are the more slow moving they are because theres more of a mass to shift its snowing here currently so those in Swansea don't be suprised to catch a flake or too before the sun goes down.

Looking black and snowy towards the northwest here, maybe a cheeky flurry later

I don't think that's true.

The airflow will become slacker later anyway so the showers will become slow moving.

I'm sure ive read somewhere that the more intense the clouds are the harder they are do shift it makes perfect logical sense also.

Stop moaning, the northerly has just begun.nonono.gif

Wind turning more westerly later, too far infact and as Rob McElwee says , Ireland blocks wales.

Ah well, we just had a pasting for hundreds of seconds.

All gone.

End of winter.

Then had a snow shower about an hour ago.

Ah well, that lasted a few mins.

All gone now.

Winter over.

It's January 29th

Just had to put my thermometer inside to dry, just found out its only shower proof not rain proof, which i find a bit rubbish but will have to find somewhere or make a small shelter for it so it dont get wet. Apart from rain thismorning, had nothing all day, and dont think we will as i think we are a bit too far east for these showers.

Had a heavy snow shower here about half hour ago mountains have a dusting that hasn't melted we had a dusting here but it has thawed second dusting to thaw shows how before when we had cooler ground but this is all cooling ground temps. Those saying winter is over is absolute trash, Its the first day the cold is here quicker, what more can you want from this cold spell? the more northwesterly the wind the better it is for you in Tycoch so i dont see what your moaning about.
