Yeah its very "still" outside, quite humid, slight rain.

Havent heard a rumble since though..

Hopefully its a sign of things to come.

Monsoon type rain here for the last half an hour - just started to hear some distant rumbles of thunder

Aye, areas of sky are darkening all the while. Thunder seems to have stopped in the last couple of mins, cell producing it I think has moved of to the NE over Cranfield and Bedford again. Grrrrrrrrr:wallbash:

Very heavy rain here, seems to be a new cell developing over us. Even stronger cells to the southwest on the radar so hopefully will get a storm soon. No thunder yet here.

The showers are very slow- moving but apart from the convergence line across the south (very gradually moving northwards) they are well scattered. Saying that I now have one!

The next cell coming up from the south looks like potent in rainfall anyway, maybe a sferic or two in that one. Can already see it and the sun is out making it feel quite muggy again.

When is the lightning starting?

Looking at the radar, there's every chance it could either miss us completely or hit us directly depending on how far east the wind pushes it as it goes north.

Here's hoping!

A dark mass of cloud to the west of Norwich, starting to produce some sferics, but we need a bit more of a westerly component to the wind direction to get them over here. Starting to look more hopeful though with electrified cells getting very close.
