Snowing hard here on the top of the Lickeys, half cm on roof tiles, probably 1cm on grass. See attached message (i now have a cold finger from tracing that on the roof!)

Night all.

Finally tally overnight: up to 3cm deep on the grass

I don't anticipate aything here - temps and dew points still a bit high really for snow, bit like overnight really. Temps in this area are around 2 with dp around 1.

Wet, cold and dull (in both senses!) here. I can see snow on the Clent Hills from my house, but here in Bewdley there's absolutely nothing. Hey ho.

What a massive non event that turned out to be, even by Midlands standards. You have to laugh that just 48hours ago 5-10cm was being predicted.

LOL Hooverman! Yes, I expect they do although it's only a scant covering. Still snowing at the moment although it's not sticking on the road, but it is on trees, etc.

in fairness to the agencies most of them were highlighting it as a mostly high ground event, and wet snow to lower levels. in a milder airflow, its always going to be more marginal. wait for the scandi or greenland high to develop :p

I think your temp may be a touch overcooked there hun, it's 2.2c here with a dew of 0.4c and i'm 3 miles from the City Centre but in a residential area so i'd expect it to be maybe 0.5c cooler out in Shilton way
