The world's tiniest flakes are falling very slowly in Earl Shilton, Andy. I'll be interested to see if Coventry has had any when I get there.

This would have been a bonus anyway so I'm not too disappointed. No doubt we will be hit at some point, it's very early in the season yet. Now I can look forward to a lovely cold weekend!

Cheshire gap showers already in place. Good timing!

Reports if snow all accross coastal and inland northwestern areas so can only be good news. MetO going for heavy snow all the way till 3pm in stoke.

Im quite optimostic now :D

A damp squib here too with the emphasis on damp. Made obs at 4:50 to see just wet ground. Popped out at 7am and its not even raining just wet ground with temp of 1 degree. Reminds me of the Xmas 2009 let down where it just rained and we all bemoaned the waste of ppn! Looks like some have done ok further south e.g. Gloucs so fair play to them.

Well, disappointing here in West Malvern, certainly had one cm of wet snow, so it's white out, but that's about it. I doubt it will survive long as the temperature rises (currently -0.2oC). Didn't get as much snow as I was expecting earlier in the week. On the bright side, at least other half can get to work!

Please tell me all is not lost?

Another dissapointment (I really should keep a tally as to how many times the weather charts have slapped us all in the face?).

OK, maybe the showers that are coming from the Cheshire gap can save us????
