Really note sure how you've seen nothing. Im about 3 or 4 miles further east of you, you should of seen it first. Height ? Not that it should make much difference at these temps.

Its dying out incredibly quickly now. Looks like we best hope 2012 is better not a single day with snow on the ground during 2011 here. I thought winters were getting better for snow and cold???

Wind blowing heavy Snow showers around this morning on a N/W Wind.

Gusting to 28mph at times. Around an inch here, but with this snow now falling it should top it up nicely.

Will be going a nice walk with my mutt later i think

The snow here has turned into lots of tiny flakes about 1mm in size, I'd prefer less flakes of bigger size - just looks better.

And wow just like that i got my wish, just checked out my window and it turned as I was typing this. Good times. According to radar the snow might even turn heavy for a few minutes in about 10 minutes time, this isn't the Leicester i've come to know over the past few years thats for sure.

Wheres Andy, he'd be so happy right now.

Stopped already that puts the total upto around 4 mins of light snowfall for the year

I certainly have been. Snowing consistently for an hour, been heavy at time with huge flakes albeit only for an hour. About 1cm fallen

yeah, but too mild at just 103m asl, heavy snow shower only left sugar dusting, temp at 0.4C
