Your doing well aj! Bout 1/2 cm here

No chance your further east than me and radar suggests you haven't had as much PPN as me, there's only a small sugar coating here and its been snowing for 45 minutes or so. Get out there, take a picture of it and show us if youv got 2cm.

Look's like it is going to happen for most of the MIdlands, barring perhaps the far west.

Great forecasting by the MO

Therefore it really should be here in Coventry any minute now ......

Probably another 30 minutes to an hour away I should estimate. You'll get the Solihull weather around 30 minutes after it has passed here :)

Summary for this region,

Snow showers are likely across the Midlands during this afternoon with Eastern area's most likely to see them. Into the evening and tonight heavy snow is likely to fall over Northern and Eastern parts. Central area's may see sleet or snow showers. Meanwhile the far West don't look to good at the moment for any snow. A more up to date summary should be made later today hope this helps.

Should arrive into Derby shortly and Nottingham in about 30-40 mins. Leicester probably about 40-50 mins away...

Looking good and glad it'll start before sunset. Gonna be one snowy evening for a pub crawl!

A good dusting here so far. We should be set until at least sunset...then we're watching for that pesky warm sector.

But will certainily enjoy it for now. It's all been fairly light so far though.

Here in west Wales it's sleety rain, but good news for the Midland's is that the temps a constant 2c since late morning.

I think he means half a cm, and even if he doesn't... calm down lol, it really isn't a big deal.

Just starting here (well, in Solihull), very fine flakes at the moment though.

Looking at the Rain Today forecast radar though, it does look like it will all be over for us by 5pm if their forecast is correct. I'm just hoping that their system underestimates snow developing from the rain bands that are showing behind this inital front of snow.....
