According to the BBC forecast at lunchtime, the showers are fizzling this afternoon. However, looking at the radar, they look pretty good right now, and definitely no sign of fizzling.

I think they are dying out a little, we had heavier showers this morning than now but I am guessing if they are convective they will weaken as the day comes to an end.

A few brief snow showers here in Telford today, everytime it starts to stick though the shower clears to blue skies and sunshine, max of just 0.3c though so chilliest day in quite a while.

Think we should enjoy any flakes we see from flurries dying out tonight as they will probably/could potentially be the very last ones of the season.

Channel Isles blizzards - who'd have thought it? Well here in the Malverns, we've had some heavy snow showers that last just a few minutes. Temp got as high as 0.5oC today but has rapidly gone down to -2.2oC.

Showers have started to lose abit of there energy now maybe a few sharp one's will give a covering

but i will say todays showers have been abit of an eye opener did'nt expect them to be so heavy

and to get not just to wales but through to the irish seashok.gif ....... not a bad day a good one in fact.

Whiteout, covered all surfaces here, came and gone again. Sugar coating even on main roads.

i saw that pass to the north, so very close but ahh well still a little bit of time, my one last wish of this winter is to see one of these showers in the light of the lampost, would top it off

infact its looking very tasty just to my north, sky looks full of snow

Stunning snow shower/blizzard while out with dogs, and we were at the top of the hill to get the full benefit! Dogs loved it, made them very innervated.

been in the peak district from 11.30 to 3.45pm, and there has been numerous heavy snow showers.

when they pile in they really are potent, great to see the intensity, just imagine if they lasted for 1 hour.

Looking at radar seems plenty more showers for next few hours.

current temp -2.7

Been walking/driving in the peak district. Showers coming in thick and fast with temporary blizzard conditions as each 1 passed through. Very low visibility at times. Felt a bit like storm chasing only chasing snow showers :)
